About the
Artist
Ivo Kirkov is a native of
Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In 1996, he earned a Master of Arts degree from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. In 2011, IvoK was
honored with a solo exhibition, “Sentences in Color”,
in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. His paintings have also been exhibited in international galleries around Europe, and are owned
by many private and public collections in Munich, Paris, Milano, Brussels, Moscow, Sofia.
The Exhibition
“Like Children Do” was shown at the Mithra Annual
Fundraiser 2012. It is a part of IvoK’s current international project dedicated to helping underprivileged children.
With the ease of children at play the artist prints, mixes, blends and draws lines and textures to create images saturated
